On entering Paris we do a coach tour of all the main sights including the Arc de Triomphe, Champs Élysées, Madeleine, Opera, Louvre and Les Invalides. We drop by the Eiffel tower and start our walking tour, crossing over the Seine and onto an area known as Trocadero - this is where the best photos of the tower are taken. After a short metro ride (ticket included) we arrive at the Louvre where we stop for 90 minutes to freshen up, visit the Mona Lisa (extra charge) or have a delicious meal at the food court.

We continue the walking tour towards the Notre Dame Cathedral along Rue de Rivoli, one of the famous shopping streets of Paris for affordable fashion and we learn about the cities historic significance.

The afternoon is then yours to enjoy at your pleasure until you meet with the guide to travel back to the Eiffel tower by public transport. We offer an optional extra in the evening to ride on the popular river cruise boats before meeting the coach which will take us to the hotel in the early evening.

Day 3

After a delicious French buffet breakfast we load the coach with luggage before departing on our optional tour to Versailles and Montmartre. If you wish not to join this tour your guide will advise a time and place to meet at a later time. We first arrive in Versailles and enter the grounds of the famous Chateau to enjoy the gardens and facade of the building. We then venture into the town of Versailles to explore the local market where you can find local wines, cheeses and freshly baked baguettes.
