In 2004, Edinburgh became the first member of the UNESCO Creative Cities initiative when it was designated a City of Literature.The Scottish Highlands is the rugged northern and North-western portion of Scotland. This is the Scotland conjured up by visions of tartan, kilts, Bonnie Prince Charlie and all.
The area of England this tour journeys through is called Kent and its known to be very fertile and famous for growing fruit and hops - these are the main ingredients for beer and cider! We visit Canterbury and learn about the Martyr Thomas Beckett who was slain by the King of England a long time ago in the mighty Cathedral. Then we venture to a beautiful castle which was used several times by Kings Henry VIII. After exploring Leeds Castle we then drop down to the coast for a photo stop at the White Cliffs of Dover to complete this great day out.

Paris also hosts several world famous museums, art galleries and ancient buildings such as the Notre Dame and its catacombs. See the birth of Art Noveau with its decorated metro stations or take a cruise to see all the best sights and bridges or "ponts". You have a wonderful opportunity to visit the "Happiest Place in Earth" - Disneyland Paris during this tour for a full day and it includes access to all the rides! France prides itself by its great gourmet food and strong flavored cheeses - go French for a day and don't forget the wine!
